A week hiatus is all you need to clear your stylist mind. Going through various fashion websites, sweats seem to be the 'it' item piece. Paired with a cool slip on or even a pump, it looks refreshing. Its finally okay to look comfortable.. Try it & see for yourself..

track pants are the new staple..

The latest edition to our wardrobe are track pants. Done in various fabrics,it could either look luxe or casual. I love it when it has leather paneling,its just sporty chic. Pair it with a silk blouse with prints and it becomes feminine too. Match it with slip ons or pumps and you are stylishly ready.

basics..

Looking stylish has never been this comfortable. The return of the basic tee with a relaxed denim jean has never been this cool. With a masculine fit & shredded detailing,this denim is nothing short of edgy. Paired with a sexy heel or caged booties,its refreshing.

last days of summer..

 The last few weeks of summer call for a culmination of its big trends.  Rock your jumpsuits & denim jackets one more time with layered jewelry and sandals. One thing I truly enjoyed was the midi dress craze that was both demure & elongating.

fall must - haves..

This past week, I was able to see upcoming fall trends. None of which were earth shattering news,BUT one must appreciate the bold take on the use of fur. Seen on oversized sweaters & coats, even skirts, the exaggerated almost hair like fur is experiencing a resurgence. Paired with flowy skirts or lame pants,its divine. Romantic details like lace & embellishment are staples for fall too.Oh chilly days, where are you when I need you..

mid length frenzy..

If there's something I'm sure of, its that the mid length dress & skirt are back. Flattering for almost any body type,its sultry in a pencil cut or girly as a swing skirt. Perfect for spring & fall especially in leather.

upcoming fall trends...

This past week has been an eye opener of sorts. Summer is coming to an end and fall fashions are all over. The midi skirt makes a statement with artistic prints while wide leg pants have never looked cooler with the crop top. Try it in magenta or in a deep blue.

sabbatical..

After a 1 week sabbatical & a trip to SoCal, I feel refreshed & rested. Fashion is meant to inspire & I feel  that the SoCal trip did that for me. Matching sets continue to be a strong trend and the boyfriend jean is essential.. Carefree hair is everything in LA so my sketches echo that vibe.

diversify

I just started an Instagram and styling website this past week. (@septemberissue87 and http://bit.ly/1pmuCu7 ) I 've sketched some of the looks I've done to keep my artistic juices flowing. I really enjoy the aspect of just styling and sharing my work with anyone that appreciates fashion. 

the buttoned up shirt..

One visual moment I did consisted of using the classic button up shirt in several ways. I remember using skirts in longer lengths and cinching their waists with belts. It was a clean and crisp point of view. I paired this look with gladiator heels to keep it on trend.

Miami resort vibe

In this visual moment that I did,my trend was all over white with a pop of color. Tangerine was my choice.I was inspired by the heat wave and went with a resort influenced trend. Whites in linen were my go- to pieces and stretch shift dresses. Silver jewelry kept my look clean and youthful.

the hampton's

Part of my job is to interpret trends and execute them on my visual moments. This month's  fashion rotation is all about the Hampton's lifestyle. I imagined women having happy hour on their very own yacht. Shorts and the occasional head scarf are key elements.
